Service Description
The following 45-hour training course covers 4 of the main CDA subject areas and 8 OCFS topics. CDA Subject Areas; Subject 1) Planning a Safe and Healthy Work Environment Subject 2) Advancing Children's Physical and Intellectual Development Subject 3) Supporting Children's Social and Emotional Health Subject 4) Building Productive Relationships with Families OCFS Topics: Topic 1) Principles of Child Development Topic 2) Nutrition and Health Topic 3) Child Daycare Program Development Topic 4) Safety and Security Procedures Topic 6) Child Abuse and Maltreatment Identification and Prevention Topic 7) Statutes and Regulations Pertaining to Child Daycare Topic 8) Statutes and Regulations Pertaining to Child Abuse and Maltreatment Topic 9) Education and Information on the Identification, Diagnosis, and Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome This course will be held for a duration of one month, totaling ten days for the entire course, 4.5 hours for each day.
Cancellation Policy
Withdrawal and Refund Policy Students who withdraw within the first [7] days may be eligible for a partial refund (if self-paying). No partial refunds will be granted after [7] days (if self-paying). EIP-funded students must immediately notify both Early Childhood Innovators and EIP if withdrawing. Refund Policy All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Non-Transferability Tuition and fees are non-transferable. Enrollment in a course may not be transferred to another student or applied to future classes. Class Changes or Cancellations Early Childhood Innovators reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel class sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor illness, technical difficulties, or emergencies. In such cases, a makeup session will be arranged, and all trainees will be notified 48 hours before the scheduled training time. Dismissal Policy Students who are dismissed from the program due to violations of class policies — including but not limited to misconduct, excessive absences, or failure to follow participation requirements — are not eligible for a refund.
