Policy
Our Commitment to Students
At Early Childhood Innovators, our policies are designed to support student success while maintaining fairness, professionalism, and accountability. Enrollment in the CDA Training Program requires students to actively participate in all scheduled classes, complete coursework on time, and uphold respectful conduct throughout the program.
We are committed to providing clear expectations regarding tuition, payment options, attendance, and make-up opportunities, while also ensuring compliance with funding sources such as the Educational Incentive Program (EIP). Refunds, withdrawals, and class changes follow established guidelines to maintain consistency and transparency.
By enrolling, students acknowledge their responsibility to meet participation, attendance, and payment requirements. In turn, we pledge to deliver high-quality instruction, reliable scheduling, and a supportive learning environment. Our goal is to ensure that every student is equipped to complete their training successfully and pursue the Child Development Associate Credential with confidence.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Students are expected to:
-
Treat instructors and classmates with courtesy and respect.
-
Refrain from disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
-
Uphold values of equity and inclusivity at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal without refund.
Attendance & Participation
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes in full, keep their cameras on during live sessions, and use their full legal name as their Zoom display name. Active participation and timely submission of assignments are essential for success in this course.
Make-Up Policy
Students who miss a class are responsible for arranging a make-up session with the instructor. Makeup opportunities are guaranteed and must be confirmed by both the student and the instructor.
Technology & Access
As this is an online training program, students are responsible for ensuring:
-
Reliable internet connection and functioning audio/video.
-
A quiet and distraction-free learning space.
-
Zoom display name reflects their full legal name.
Technical issues on the student’s side are subject to the standard makeup policy.
Academic Integrity
Students are expected to submit original work and maintain honesty in all coursework. Plagiarism, falsification of assignments, or misrepresentation of participation may affect completion status and eligibility for a certificate.
Tuition, Payments & Refunds
-
Tuition is $2,500, payable in full before the start of class unless a written payment plan is approved.
-
Payment may be made via EIP, check, money order, credit, or debit.
-
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email. Students who withdraw within the first 7 days may be eligible for a partial refund (if self-paying). After 7 days, no refunds are available.
-
Tuition and fees are non-transferable and cannot be applied to future classes.
Grievance & Complaint Procedure
Any concerns or disputes regarding coursework, attendance, or refunds should be submitted in writing to the instructor at eci.anandab@gmail.com. All complaints will be reviewed and addressed in a fair and timely manner.
Certificates & Completion Disclaimer
A certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the training, reflecting the number of hours completed. Completion of this training does not automatically grant the Child Development Associate Credential but may be used toward the CDA application through the Council for Professional Recognition.
Non-Discrimination & Accessibility
Early Childhood Innovators is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age. Students who require reasonable accommodations are encouraged to notify the instructor prior to the start of training.
Updates to Policies
Our policies may be updated as needed to ensure a fair and supportive training environment. Students will be notified in writing of any significant changes prior to their effective date.
