What is the CDA?
The Child Development Associate is a necessary credential for Childcare/Daycare providers to obtain if they do not have a formal education in Early Childhood. This credential is given by the CDA council to those who meet the requiremnts and prove thier professionalism in a Early Childhood enviorment.
WHY SHOULD YOU OBTAIN YOUR CDA?
Obtaining your CDA as a Daycare provider can open doors into the various daycare networks in NY. It is also a necessary step in improving the quality of your daycare after obtaining an official license for your program. It also opens doors to funding opportunities provided by the state. After earning your CDA credential, you will be able to join most networks in New York State. Networks provide means of enrollment, and some even offer additional grants for nutritional meals and play equipment.
How do I GET MY CDA?
STEP 1:
​​A High School Diploma. We encourage those who are seeking brand-new career paths and those who are seeking continuous professional development to join us!
​STEP 2:
120 clock hours of professional early childhood education. We provide all of our courses in an easily accessible, comprehensive, online, and engaging format.
​STEP 3:
480 hours of experience in the age group you would like to earn your CDA in. We provide real-world scenarios in our lessons!

Complete your Family Questionnaire and Professional Portfolio. We help you understand these!

Complete your verification visit We prepare you for this!
​STEP 5:
Complete your CDA Exam!
We help prepare you for all aspects of the CDA process for this by providing real-world scenarios, practice CDA question and refelction questions, and in-depth discussion questions.
